Field Trip to Turtleback Zoo

The field trip to TurtleBack Zoo is still on as scheduled. The teachers will wait to see what the weather is like before making a final determination. If the weather is super yucky, then the trip will be postponed. However, if we only get light rain or a drizzle, the kids can strap on their galoshes and rain coats and we're headed to the zoo!!

Dont forget to send your child with a bagged lunch and snacks for the day! Sure to be a spectacular day! Get those camera's ready!

Summer Plans

Hi Fellow Parents,

Summer is inching it's way closer and the million dollar quesiton is looming: What to do with the kids for the summer?

Many of us cant have the kids with us during the day while we work and we dont want all that they learned to ooze out of their brains over the summer while theyre not in school. Summer camp is a great option, but theyre arent too many places in Jersey City that offer horse back riding, pottery, music, dance and art! There are a few places however that are offering day camp programs for 4 year olds in the nearby area.

So what are you doing with your child for June, July, and August?

Hi there fellow parents,

My name is Erica, though most of you may know me as Jada's mom! I am a pretty activce parent at Primary Prep's Play and Learn, and even still I found that I am not always aware of school events, closings, due dates etc. that are instituted for the Abbott Program. Ive talked to parents who didn't know that school was closed until they arrived at the school that day! And how many times have we forgotten to turn in our Scholastic Book orders? And I know Im not the only one who's forgotten about Parent Meeting Nights! The staff at Primary Prep also have instituted many great benefits o f which all parents may not be aware.

This blog is intended to be a destination for information amongst all of the parents of students at Play and Learn/Primary Prep. Everyone is allowed to comment and participate.
